Tanukidani-san

Tanukidani-san Fudoin is a very cool temple that gets overlooked. It is dedicated to the racoon dog/tanuki, sometimes called the Japanese Badger. The tunnel of torii is actually associated with the nativist Shinto god, Inari, but this is a Shingon Buddhist temple. Shingon Buddhism has a very strong connection with Inari so you will often see Inari Shrines at Shingon temples.
